About Malisita Kids Home
This center was founded by Dorothy Njau in order to promote the dignity and equality of all persons with disabilities through the enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms. Also when understands that disability results from barriers in society rather than form problems within the individual. Also form the interaction between an individual with impairment and their environment.There are twenty nine 29 kids such as thirteen (13) boys and sixteen (16) girls. They come from different places and scattered areas in Tanzania.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Safe and conducive environment in study is important as is follows; increases concentration in the study increase the level of understanding, creativity, bring peace of mind and confidence leading to better performance.
- Parents to spend times with their children during weekends, after school and during the holidays. Also other activities can do together includes householder chores, teaching them how to be independent and personal hygiene.
- Encouraging positive attitudes
- AND
- Making sure disabled children of school age are enrolled in school/unity and to increase enrollment of children with disabled.
